This past week, our principal, Dr. Ford virtually met with staff members, Chamblee cluster principals, and HHES PTA parents to discuss our next steps forward. Conversations geared around how students’ digital day will look in the fall, including small group instruction, school supplies, live and recorded lessons, students’ resources, Chromebooks, class programs and parent communication. We will merge DCSD's digital plan previously shared at the board meeting Friday, May 24 to make final arrangements to our digital learning plan.
We’re in this together and we’re coming together to solve the challenges our schools share in this new virtual world. Challenges like balancing engagement with students and providing instructional time and attention for each individual student. Our school is passionate about learning and excited to work with our families to help our kids reach their full potential.
